Our CEO, Michael Fergusson, took the stage last Thursday to receive his Ernst & Young’s Pacific 2012 Social Entrepreneur of the year award. This special citation is given in recognition of an entrepreneur whose achievements have driven large-scale social change and improved people’s lives or quality of life.
“It’s the team at Ayogo, especially co-founder and CTO Paul Prescod that makes this possible,” tweeted Michael following his win.
We’re thrilled that our team’s hard work building health games and apps, which has helped improve people’s lives in measurable ways, is garnering the attention of global leaders like Ernst & Young.
“One glimpse of Michael Fergusson and it’s obvious the CEO didn’t take the well-worn path to becoming top dog at his own business,” writes Jessica Barrett in BC Business. “Fergusson’s dreadlocked mane and pearl-buttoned western shirt suggest an individual who dances to his own beat.” No truer words have been written!
Below is the video vignette Ernst & Young showed at the awards gala. Congrats Michael! Go team!
